Winter Appeal
Where will you be this winter… Help us to help others keep warm. Your help is urgently needed to make sure we have stock at LCC to get people through winter. For the people you help through LCC, winter is the worst. People do sleep in cars, even families with children and babies. Your Donation will buy warm clothes, blankets and food for the people sleeping rough or doing it tough. Your generous support allows us to demonstrate the kind of love God offers each of us as we walk alongside the people who are hurting and homeless.

Harmony Day Celebrations
Harmony Day Celebrations were held across Lutheran Community Care sites on 21 March to signify the cultural diversity amongst staff and the broader communities they serve.
At Peachey Place Living Skills Centre a food demo was held in partnership with parenting group Hippi. A second celebration was also held with Uniting Care Wesley and John Hartley Children's Centre featuring performances from the local Burundian Choir. At Blair Athol staff joined together to thank volunteers for helping clients and staff. The group had fun discussing their family trees, discovering that every family at some stage came to Australia as migrants and all had very diverse backgrounds.
In Alice Springs, the Kwatja Etatha Playgroup participated in 'A Taste of Harmony' by gathering together to celebrate their diversity through food.

Welcome...
Lutheran Community Care provides community services on behalf of the Lutheran Church in South Australia and Northern Territory.
We support communities through responding to the needs of individuals and families, community development, learning opportunities, accommodation and support.
Much of our work aims to address poverty and injustice so that those in need are empowered to achieve their full potential.
Our services are based on respect, integrity and compassion. We work with communities to develop efficient and effective ways to respond to individuals and families in need. We embrace all people regardless of language, culture, ethnicity or religion.
Our staff and volunteers walk alongside those in need to provide, not just the necessities of food, clothing and shelter but also support and care.
