Statement of Vision, Mission, Core Beliefs and Values
Philosophy statement
In doing the work that God has called us to do; we serve those who come to us with joyful and
generous hearts.
We strive to share with each person God’s unconditional love, compassion, dignity and respect.
It is our prayer that they feel that they have been treated in a caring and respectful way.
Our services are based on respect and compassion. We stand with the poor and disadvantaged.
We will work to empower them to speak out, but we will speak to government on their behalf
when it is not possible for them to do so themselves.
We will work with local community groups and churches to help them find practical ways of
responding to needs in the community. In doing this, we will provide training and encouragement
so that the community’s capacity to help is increased.
We will meet people’s needs in practical ways, searching for efficient and effective ways that
are based in common sense.
And in all that we do, we will pray for God’s guidance, protection and blessing. “
The only thing that counts is faith active in love” Gal 5:6
