For professionals (mainly counsellors, educators and religious celebrants) who are already accredited administrators and are seeking to extend their skills in using PREPARE/ENRICH materials. These courses are only available for those already trained in PREPARE.
ENRICH is relevant for couples wishing to nurture their relationship or who are experiencing relationship difficulties. MATE is for mature age couples facing significant changes in their lives e.g. marriage, retirement, redundancy.
A series of Community Profile sessions designed for teachers who have students from refugee backgrounds. The sessions enable a better understanding of their families, culture and country of origin. Separate sessions are offered on: The Sudan, Central Africa, West Africa and Afghanistan.
Offered to school or agency groups upon request. These sessions are partly funded by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship's Settlement Grants Program.

Train to inspire parents, to equip them with practical parenting skills and to help them enjoy their kids!
Toolbox parenting groups are a fresh approach to parent education. In an informal environment parents are equipped with practical skills and strategies relating to either the early years (0-4), the middle years (4-12) or the teen years (12+).

The training program includes a facilitator's manual for the age group they select for training, 'mock' training sessions and an invitation to apply to become a registered 'Toolbox' trainer.
This 7 hour course is designed to assist participants develop their understanding of the issues, their obligations and to discover ways to protect young people from all forms of abuse. This is an accredited course that meets the assessment requirements and is approved by the Department for Families and Communities. The Statement of Completion that is issued is recognised by the Teacher's Registration Board and other organisations that require this training and is valid for three years.

- How to deal with concerns you may have in reporting abuse

This is a three hour presentation which is suitable for schools or groups where participants have previously completed the full day course and wish to update their certification and training after a three year period.

Designed as a one or two day workshop.
Available for community groups and agencies involved in delivering services so low income households.

This is a 2 day course designed to provide experienced Emergency Relief volunteers and workers with the knowledge, skills and practical tools to provide a Budget Counselling service as a bridge between Emergency Relief and Financial Counselling. This training is funded by the Australian Government.

Topics covered in this training include managing volunteers, networking skills, service models, managing clients with difficult behaviour, welfare rights and advocacy.
This course is offered to people working or volunteering within the Lutheran Church of Australia so that they are aware of the issues, their rights and obligations in relation to harassment and abuse as forms of sexual abuse. A certificate is issued (valid for 3 years).

Through doing this course you'll learn: about the approach taken by the Church to harassment and sexual abuse; the range of behaviours covered by the Safe Place Policy; how and when to report any harassment or abuse and the procedures that are followed when a complaint is made.

This is a workshop on marriage, separation, divorce and re-marriage for pastors, counsellors and pastoral workers. With recent statistics showing that 32 per cent of Australian marriages end in divorce, it is vital that pastors and pastoral workers have a better understanding of the factors leading to separation and divorce.
