Learning for Life and Love - Couple Relationships courses:
Preparing for Marriage
These group session-courses forcouples are offered through PREPARE/ENRICH-see below.
This course is designed for those planning to marry or recently married. The course covers family background, communication, conflict resolution, values and faith issues, intimacy and sex and planning for the future. It helps couples build on their strengths and to develop skills for dealing with difficult times.
There is no pressure to share personal experiences in a group setting.
Cost:
- $160 per couple if both employed
- $85 if one employed
- $65 if neither employed/students for 3 sessions (GST incl)

For couples who are married or considering marriage, the PREPARE sessions use an inventory based on extensive research to give you a clearer view of your relationship and how to build skills for solving relationship issues.
In these sessions you will respond to a series of statements and then

Receive feedback identifying the strengths and growth areas of your relationship. You will be provided with new ways of working through things that cause frustration or irritation and will extend your understanding of each other.
Appointments are available at Magill, Blair Athol, Murray Bridge and Nuriootpa.
After the Honeymoon-early years of Marriage
A short course for couples who have been married for a couple of years. This course helps you celebrate the good times you've had together, learn some strategies to cope with difficulties that might arise and spend some uninterrupted time planning your future. There is also time to relax and have fun.
Available for group bookings.
Offered at Magill and other venues as requested.
A course created for couples where one or both partners are re-marrying. This course is similar to the Preparing for Marriage course, but takes up the special issues for those that are remarrying.
Cost:
- $180 for couple if both employed
- $110 concession (GST incl)
Includes dinner on Saturday evening.

This course is offered on demand for a weekend or four week nights. The course covers building a future together, dealing with the past, coping with complex family situations and step parenting.
A series of three evening sessions to help your relationship and your family thrive in the midst of current life issues and demands. The course covers being partners and parents, dealing with difference and intimacy and romance
Available for group or agency bookings in rural and metropolitan regions
Cost: $10.00 per couple per session
A weekend course for couples of all ages to experience a strength-based learning experience looking at factors which help to build a healthy marriage and how to build these factors into their own relationships.
Available on request - Ideal for congregations, small groups & community groups

The weekend gives you time to reflect on your relationship, learn some new relationship skills, identify changes to strengthen your relationship and work on strategies to make positive changes.
Similar to Time for Us, but either a half day or full day course where couples reflect on their relationship journey, to build on the strengths of their relationship and to plan future directions.
