Families are important to all of us. At Lutheran Community Care we support families to build resilience so that they can enjoy the good times and cope with the difficult times. When the family unit breaks down, becomes dysfunctional or suffers from other adversities, Lutheran Community Care will work through the crisis with the family and support them with a variety of programs and services.

When an individual feels they have no one to turn to with their difficulties Lutheran Community Care counsels and works with people to recognise their needs with sensitivity and individualised problem-solving approaches.

Our communities are diversifying every day . Lutheran Community Care welcomes asylum seekers and new arrivals from a refugee background. Our volunteers and advocacy services help their settlement into a new and strange country.

For Youth

For many young people the transition to adult hood is sometimes a winding path without the support and caring of a family. It can be a time of fear and frustration when exacerbated by neglect, abuse or other challenges. Lutheran Community Care offers support to young people by listening, offering encouragement, and helping them to develop skills to face their circumstances and future.
