About Calvary Lutheran Family Support Services
Calvary Lutheran Family Support Services (CLFSS) has been in existence since 1993. From humble beginnings the program has now grown to provide accommodation for 23 homeless families and outreach support to many more.
Not only can we provide accommodation for some homeless families but we offer Family Support Workers to come alongside the individuals in families and provide support as they find stability and confidence to move into a secure future.
In recent times the program has grown to extend an outreach service to the community also. Many families find themselves at risk of becoming homeless and our outreach team is available to assist in maintaining their housing with the aim of keeping them out of the cycle of homelessness.
CLFSS is a joint venture between State and Federal Government under the Supported Accommodation Assistance Program (SAAP). As a SAAP program we work under a case management model in our accommodation service and provide an intervention service through the outreach.
Our program works from two sites in Adelaide - Noarlunga for the Southern Suburbs and Blair Athol for the Northern Suburbs.
