YES! YOU CAN COOK
Video and Cookbook

The Yes You Can Cook resource is a practical guide to healthy and tasty cooking that will not break the budget. It is a cookbook and video that demonstrate possible recipe ideas for breakfast, lunch, tea and dessert. This video and cookbook combination are useful for:

• teaching groups and individuals how to cook a variety of recipes, including rice and pasta dishes;
• playing the video in waiting rooms or lending it to people to watch and learn from home;
• a resource for community agencies.
  

Cookbooks are available at a cost of $2 each collected from Lutheran Community Care, 309 Prospect Road, Blair Athol, or $3 each if they need to be posted within South Australia, higher postage rates may apply for other states, country or international locations.

A Package of a Video and Cookbook posted is $18, higher postage rates may apply for other states, country or international locations.

BUDGETING AND BEYOND
A Resource Manual for Community Groups Providing Life-Skills Training Programs

Do you or your organisation run workshops/training for people on low incomes? Would your clients be interested in learning skills associated with Budgeting and Nutrition? "Budgeting and Beyond" provides information on:

• obtaining funding for running training courses;
• organising the training program
• general principles of adult learning;
• ready-to-go training modules on the topics of "Budgeting" and "Nutrition" (including handouts)

• working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds;

LOW INCOME SUPPORT DIRECTORIES

There are four directories in the series. The purpose of these directories is to assist organisations that provide services to people on low incomes, or individuals and families in crisis to make appropriate referrals. The directories are not to be given to clients and are designed only as a reference tool for service providers. Price of books $8.00 each includes GST and postage. Once purchased, it can be duplicated by owners for use within their own organisation.
