Mobile Creche Service

Lutheran Community Care recognises that many people in our community have valuable life skills that have been developed through their experience as parents, teachers or carers of children, and so encourage and support people to share with others and become part of the Volunteer Team.

Volunteers will receive:

• Appropriate training in
  - Child Development
  - Play
  - Communication Skills with Adults and Children
  - Child Abuse and Mandatory Reporting
  - Safety in Crèches
  - Managing Children's Behaviour
  - Anger Management and Domestic & Family Violence
  - Cultural Diversity in Crèches
• Regular support
• Travel Reimbursement
• Public liability insurance coverage
• Opportunity to meet new people and do rewarding work.

Volunteer crèche workers care for children in community centres from Golden Grove, Modbury, Gilles Plains, Enfield, Woodville to Port Adelaide areas.

Bi-lingual and bi-cultural persons are encouraged to be involved in these services.
