Mental Health Support Group

Mental Health Support Group

Based in Millicent, in partnership with St. Paul's congregation, this group is for:

  • anyone who has suffered from a mental health condition
  • anyone who currently has a mental health disorder
  • anyone who cares for someone with mental health issues
  • anyone who would like to provide support for people with mental health problems

The group offers friendship and support; education about managing mental health issues; knowledge and links into services in the community; spiritual support and congregational involvement. As well, there is offered information on treatments and medical management (by specialist guest speakers), and activities such as exercise, craft and social outings. Funded through the Zinnbauer Mission fund, the group is held every Tuesday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Hall.
